LN Pollyanna

June 6. 1991 -July 7, 2002

"Anna" was a very special mare at Kris Marc Farms.  "Anna" was a 28.5" sorrel and white pinto with the clearest blue eyes.   She was registered both AMHA and AMHR.   Her sire was Stouts Kit Kat and her dam was Stouts Rainbow.  We felt so lucky to purchase her from Galloping G Miniatures.  She was in foal to BSL Rangers Blaze of Glory when she made the trip from Pennsylvania to Arkansas.  Sharrway Transport delivered her safe and sound

On June 6, 2001, Anna gave birth to Kris Marc Stud Muffin.  How appropriate that he was born on his mother's birthday.  She was such a good mother.

Anna was bred to HTF Majestic Magnum, a 27.5" stallion.  Unfortunately, she had trouble delivering her foal on June 25, 2002.  The vet was immediately called and had to remove the foal from her.  The vet returned that night and tended to Anna.

The following week saw outside temperatures up to 107 degrees.  The fans were kept on Anna to keep her cool and the vet came regularly to give her IV's.  Anna fought hard to keep going.  On the morning of July 7th, Gary held up her little face to give her pedilyte while waiting for the vet to come.  She laid over into Gary's arms and breathed her last breath.

Gary came to the house and told us that he didn't think she was going to make it  We arrived at the barn and tried to talk her back into life, but Anna had left this world.  Many tears fell on her little body.

Anna will always be remembered at Kris Marc Farms.
